{"id":7494,"date":"2013-07-27T15:21:27","date_gmt":"2013-07-27T20:21:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/debslunch.com\/debslunchblog\/?p=7494"},"modified":"2013-07-31T23:00:20","modified_gmt":"2013-08-01T04:00:20","slug":"seattle-trip","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/debslunch.com\/debslunchblog\/seattle-trip\/","title":{"rendered":"Seattle trip"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;re visiting in Seattle for a wedding.<\/p>\n<p>Last night we went to <a href=\"http:\/\/instagram.com\/p\/cQVGHTTaQf\/\">Safeco<\/a> field to watch the Twinkies beat the Mariners, although they didn&#8217;t accomplish that until we were walking home. We left with the game tied 1-1, a mixed gaggle of ages &amp; relationships; us, the to-be-married couple, and assorted brothers, sisters in law, and nieces &amp; nephews. Some of us were keeping track of the game by smart phone and when we heard the Twins had won, it was generally agreed that the winning wasn&#8217;t the bad part, it was that they had to take 13 innings to do it.<\/p>\n<p>We slept ok for being time shifted, and went out for <a href=\"http:\/\/instagram.com\/p\/cRqnNBTabs\/\">breakfast<\/a> at the Sound View Cafe in Pike Market, with a view of the new(ish) <a href=\"http:\/\/seattlegreatwheel.com\/\">Ferris Wheel<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Walked over to the bro&#8217;s &amp; now we&#8217;re lazily hanging out in the backyard, and maybe heading to the lake.
