I&#8217;ve had trouble finding a clafouti blog post or picture that I think is worth linking to &#8211; no David Lebowitz &#8211; though from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.davidlebovitz.com\/2011\/08\/sunday-market-in-august\/\">his blog<\/a> I could see that the apricots are in at the Paris Fartmers Market, too; <a href=\"http:\/\/chocolateandzucchini.com\/archives\/2006\/03\/strawberry_clafoutis.php\">Clotilde&#8217;s is strawberry<\/a>; tons o&#8217; bloggers saying &#8220;I based this on Dorie Greenspan&#8221;, but no illustrated blog post from Dorie herself, although you can get Dorie&#8217;s recipe on page 81-82 of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Paris-Sweets-Great-Desserts-Pastry\/dp\/0767906810#reader_0767906810\">Paris Sweets.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Someday this week I want to bake them into a clafouti &#8211; the apricots in actual size are hardly bigger than cherries, at least the last couple of bags of big fat cherries from Washington state that I&#8217;ve bought.
