Last grill-out of summer

If you consider summer to be “between the days” – memorial and labor – then yesterday was the last grill out of the summer. I ate the corn cut off the last ear on top of tabouli for lunch on Tuesday, then finished the green beans with a hard boiled egg yesterday.

GrillN4Peace 2010

What a difference a year makes – last year we were soggy and freezing at the same time, wet feet in 6 inches of cold water on thawing ice. This year was almost too easy, sunny, in the high 20s. I made stuffed grilled flank steak.
